  We were recommended this restaurant by a couple of people and we are glad we followed their advice. We missed the restaurant twice driving by (our fault, not for lack of signage), but eventually found it. We decided to eat in the dining room, which wasn't as loud as the pub side. Service was very friendly and seemed to be done by the chef himself as the waitress was busy serving other tables. I personally went with the 'chef recommended' Cajun halibut steak dinner. The portion size was great and plenty for myself. The halibut was seasoned perfectly and very tasty. My only complaint is the halibut was accompanied by plain white rice and I would have liked to have seen it 'jazzed up' with something. One of my dining companions had the halibut as well (without the Cajun seasoning) and was happy with it as well. My other companion had the special which was half a chicken, half a rack of ribs, Caesar salad, and potatoes. The portion size was huge and a great value at the $16.95 price charged. The food was raved about as well. All in all, we were happy with the restaurant and would definitely recommend if in Masset.

  Great value with large portions and good service. Food was good: we had ribs, fish and chips, burger and beef dip and everyone was pleased with their meal. Best prices we found in all of Haida Gwaii.

  I had the ribs, couldn't find much meat, just a $20 pile of bones, fat and gristle. The chicken dish was better, still mediocre. The service was friendly, but not attentive.
